The Impact of Work-Related Problems on Burnout Syndrome and Job Satisfaction Levels among Emergency Department Staff

Burnout syndrome is caused by a number of factors, including personal, organizational, and professional problems. The purpose this study was to investigate burnout satisfaction levels among emergency department staff in the context activity issues. We studied sample 184 participants working department. Participants signed an informed consent form, completed socio-demographic questionnaire MBI-HSS (MP) assess burnout, JSS (Job Satisfaction Survey) their satisfaction, AWS (AWS work survey) on aspects. questionnaires were between November 2022 March 2023. group aged 24–64 years old, most subjects being female. found that 30.2% medical are at high risk burnout. Emotional exhaustion indirectly proportional workload, interpersonal relationships, rewards. direct result experience. While expressed ambivalence dissatisfaction with environment, they satisfied nature work. This job-related factors such as social support feedback significant predictors employee well-being reducing negatively correlated job while personal accomplishment positively satisfaction. Depersonalization associated operating conditions coworkers. also identified differences related constructs healthcare professionals, resident physicians reporting higher accomplishments paramedics relatively low emotional exhaustion. findings suggest tailored interventions addressing demands resources critical improving
